As his Denver Nuggets were looking to take a 2-0 series lead over the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday evening, forward Torrey Craig had to exit the game relatively early.
Going up for a rebound on a missed shot, Craig was inadvertently struck in the face by a teammate.
Craig was down on the court for some time with blood piling up nearby.
That was one ugly scene at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
Early indications are that it’s a broken nose. Though, we’re sure Craig will go through a concussion test.
The 28-year-old forward entered Wednesday’s action averaging 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds on 56% shooting thus far in the playoffs.
