In a season marred by injuries to many of its best hitters, the Washington Nationals are finally starting to get healthy after a disastrous start to the 2019 season.

On Saturday, Washington activated outfielder Juan Soto off the 10-day injured list after he missed a week with back spasms.

The 20-year-old’s return to the lineup will be a delight for the Nationals at a time when they are desperate for more run producers.

Washington ranks 20th in runs scored (171), OPS (.720) and slugging percentage (.405). Needless to say, Soto’s .835 OPS with 22 RBI and .467 slugging percentage should help this team’s lineup turnaround.

Now with Soto and Anthony Rendon back in the lineup, look for Washington to start climbing out from the bottom of the standings.
