Kareem Hunt wants to apologize to the woman he assaulted

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt would like to make amends and apologize to the woman he assaulted in a hotel hallway in 2018.

“I have not, but if I was to see her, I would apologize to her face,” Hunt said, per TMZ Sports. “But, I have not had the chance to do that. I don’t know any ways of contacting her. I have not.”

It is good to know that Hunt has acknowledged his actions and wants to apologize to his victim. Perhaps he will receive the opportunity at some point in time.

For now, Hunt said he relying on religion and counseling to help become a better person, and head coach Freddie Kitchens said on Wednesday that the running back is handling his business off the field.

Cleveland wound up being the franchise to give this 23-year-old running back a second chance in the NFL. Hunt seems to be graciously embracing his new opportunity.

He will join his team on the field this fall after first serving his eight-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

In the meantime, Hunt is able to attend team activities and practices.
