In the wake of his passing, many people are sharing wonderful stories about Green Bay Packers legend, Bart Starr. Another Packers legend, Brett Favre, detailed one of them.
Speaking on Sirius XM Radio, Favre detailed that after every game he played, he’d receive a hand written note from Starr.
Writing a letter to him, regardless of how he played, is a pretty sizable effort. Especially since, as Favre detailed, he played in a lot of games.
Starr could have done a lot less than that and been quite supportive of Favre. The fact that he went through that kind of effort really does say a lot about the kind of guy that Starr was.
