Prior to their blowout win over the Charlotte Hornets Sunday night, the Golden State Warriors got some really sad news.
It came from Los Angeles and shocked the entire basketball community. Hip-hop artist Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside of his clothing store in Southern California.
Friends wth both Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, the news of Hussle‘s murder hit the Warriors hard.
Here, we see Durant breaking the news to Curry prior to Sunday night’s game. It’s tragic.
Curry himself also sent out a tweet after hearing of Hussle’s passing.
It’s not yet known exactly how the shooting went down. But local authorities say that Hussle knew the perpetrator. An investigation is ongoing.
