WATCH: Eric Bledsoe ejected for throwing ball at Joel Embiid

His Milwaukee Bucks started Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers with an opportunity to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Unfortunately, star guard Eric Bledsoe will have to watch the game from the locker room after being ejected early on.

It all started within the first few minutes of the initial quarter after Giannis Antetokounmpo nailed a three-pointer. Bledsoe was tangled up with Joel Embiid.

The Sixers center didn’t like it and tossed the ball in Bledsoe’s direction. Milwaukee’s point guard responded by throwing a fastball to Embiid’s stomach.

After consulting replay, officials tossed Bledsoe from the game while assessing technical fouls to both Embiid and Sixers wing Mike Scott.

This potential playoff series would already have a ton of drama involved with Embiid and Bledsoe facing off. Add in a late-season spat like this, and that’s magnified further.

One does have to wonder why Embiid didn’t get the boot too. Though, we’re sure all three players involved will face a fine from the NBA on Friday.
