Sean McVay’s home burglarized, items stolen

Former Rams head coach Mike Martz is not inspired by Sean McVay's hire.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay might be the hottest young name at his position in professional sports. But this doesn’t make him immune from the problems other stars around the sports world have faced.

TMZ Sports is reporting on Friday that McVay’s Los Angeles-based home was burglarized Thursday night.

“We’re told 3 men wearing hoodies, bandanas and gloves smashed through the back door of the home before stealing $20k worth of jewelry and expensive purses,” the gossip rag reported.

The good news? No one was home at the time of the theft. McVay’s alarm did go off. But by the time authorities arrived at the scene, those responsible for the crime were long gone.

Law enforcement officials also told TMZ Sports that some damage was done to McVay’s home during the robbery. An investigation is ongoing.
