Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw to make rehab start Thursday

Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw is making his way back to the bump. After pitching in two simulated games over the past week, Kershaw will make a rehab start in the minors on Thursday.

If everything goes according to plan, Kershaw could very well make just one rehab start before rejoining the Dodgers.

Out since early spring with a shoulder injury, Kershaw had previously noted that it would take time for him to get back on the diamond. Fortunately, it seems that everything is working out swimmingly.

Kershaw, 31, has now spent time on the shelf each of the past four seasons. We’re fully expecting Los Angeles to take it slow with him.

For their part, the Dodgers head into their first full week of regular-season baseball at 3-1 and tied atop the National League West.
