WATCH: Josh Reddick robs extra bases with amazing catch

It wasn’t too long ago that Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick was known for his glove.

A star in the Boston Red Sox system, Reddick made a name for himself after a trade to the Oakland Athletics. In fact, he earned a Gold Glove Award back in 2012.

At about the same time, Hunter Pence was earning NL All-Star honors for the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies.

The two old-timers squared off in Arlington with Reddick coming out on top big time. Just check out the veteran rob Pence of what would have been extra bases early in Wednesday’s game.

Talk about turning the clock back some. At 32 years old, Reddick entered the season battling for an everyday spot with Kyle Tucker.

But he’s been nothing short of extraordinary, both at the plate and in the field. Reddick entered Wednesday’s action hitting a robust .462 with a .962 OPS.

If he keeps this up, a teammate’s altruistic ways will go a long way in helping those in need.
