WATCH: Lorenzo Cain robs HR to seal Opening Day win for Brewers

Jon Durr-USA TODAY Sports

The St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers put on a classic on Opening Day. And it ended on a fantastic play from Milwaukee’s Lorenzo Cain.

The Brewers were up 5-4 in the ninth with two outs. Cardinals pinch hitter Jose Martinez launched what appeared to be a game-tying homer. But Cain tracked the ball down, leapt, and brought it back onto the field for the final out.

That’s a heck of a way to start the season for the Brewers.

Between that, a home run from their starting pitcher, and a three-run homer from reigning MVP Christian Yelich, we’d say that the fans in Milwaukee got their money’s worth.
