Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox continues to excel as a sophomore in this league.

His brilliant play had previously led the long-downtrodden Kings into playoff contention prior to some recent team-wide struggles.

Even then, Fox is showing himself to be a legitimate franchise cornerstone. The Dallas Mavericks found that out early and often during an otherwise meaningless Western Conference matchup in California’s capital city Thursday evening.

In fact, Fox was out there dunking all over Dallas. The first one came virtue of a steal that ultimately saw Fox throw down a reverse jam — bringing Kings fans to their feet.

If that weren’t enough, Fox used a beautiful crossover move to full multiple Mavericks defenders before flushing it home.

He legitimately almost brought down Golden 1 Center with this dunk.

Sacramento might not break its playoff drought this season. That’s unfortunate. But with the likes of Marvin Bagley, Buddy Hield and this Fox, things are looking up in the state capital.
