Johnny Manziel is extremely pumped up to be playing in his first AAF game. He was put into the starting lineup midway through the second quarter Sunday for the Memphis Express against the Birmingham Iron and looked darn good on his lone first-half drive.
As Manziel opened up the second half under center, he endured a sack and exchanged words with an Iron defender who flashed the “money” sign.
One play later, things escalated a bit and Manziel had to be separated following more tough talk.
Based on the way Mike Singletary reacted to Vernon Davis many years ago, one wonders if the head coach will be excited about Manziel’s extracurricular activities.
