New San Diego Padres star Manny Machado was at bat Wednesday at Peoria Stadium, and fans were not happy to see him.
Machado was heavily booed as he stepped to the plate.
The boos must have fueled his fire, because Machado responded with a two-run blast off Brandon Woodruff — his first home run of spring training.
Padres fans should get used to seeing this from Machado, who has blasted no less than 33 homers per season since 2015.
