Report: Robert Quinn will be traded to Cowboys for late-round pick

In an effort to bolster the pass rush, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly close to a trade with the Miami Dolphins for defensive end Robert Quinn.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that the two sides were close.

Rapoport added that the pick would likely be for a “future late-round pick.”

Tom Pelissero added that Quinn will do a new one-year deal to make the trade work.

Quinn recorded 6.5 sacks in 2018, his first season in Miami. In his career, he’s never had fewer than four.

Dallas has given Demarcus Lawrence the franchise tag. But in terms of a long-term deal, the Cowboys and Lawrence are reportedly far apart. So, it only makes sense that Dallas would look for some help. And if things do work out with Lawrence, a team can never have too much good pass rushing.
