Blake Bortles was not out of a job for long.
The Los Angeles Rams announced on Monday that they have signed Bortles, who was recently released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, to a one-year deal.

Bortles will be 27 in April. So, there’s still time to turn his career around. Unfortunately, he’s a firm No. 2 behind Jared Goff in Los Angeles. So, the opportunities to prove himself could come few and far between.
The Jaguars selected Bortles No. 3 overall in 2014. His career in Jacksonville was something of a roller coaster ride. Unfortunately, the roller coaster didn’t have many highs last season. In 13 games, he completed 60.3 percent of his passes for 2,718 yards with 13 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 79.8 rating.
