Jesse James seems to take a shot at Steelers during Lions introduction

It’s no secret that new Detroit Lions tight end Jesse James has something against his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

During his introductory press conference after he signed his free agency contract, James seemed to take another shot at the Steelers, and perhaps Ben Roethlisberger.

That could be perceived as a comment about Pittsburgh’s offensive scheme. It could be construed as a player who feels his former team didn’t value him enough. It could also be seen as James taking a veiled shot at his former quarterback for not looking his way enough.

For what it’s worth, James also said he expects to be utilized far more in Detroit on third downs and in the red zone.

During his four years with the Steelers, the former fifth-round pick out of Penn State tallied 120 receptions for 1,189 yards and nine touchdowns.
