Xavier Rhodes tweets ‘welcome to Minnesota’ to Antonio Brown

With all the hubbub surrounding Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown these days, Minnesota Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes threw some gasoline on the already blazing fire on Thursday.

All it took was a six-word tweet.

Now, it would be pretty crazy if Brown landed in Minnesota. The Vikings already have one of the best 1-2 punches at receiver in the NFL with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. They also have one of the worst salary-cap situations going in the league and have some big decisions to make regarding their own players.

So, likely there is nothing to what Rhodes wrote in terms of where Brown will play in 2019. More than likely, Brown is just in the region for another reason. But that won’t stop Vikings fans from freaking out a bit over this tweet.
