Kyler Murray won’t throw at the combine, and he won’t run, either. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Murray has told teams he’s only doing medical and interviews at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine and that he will do a full workout at his pro day, instead.
Adding to this: Kyler Murray has told teams he doesn’t plan to participate in any drills or testing at the combine. Is doing medical and interviews here. Plan is to work out at his pro day instead. Teams expected this. https://t.co/5J8MECenGN

Many won’t like this decision by Murray. After all, one of the biggest things people were looking forward to this weekend was what 40 time Murray would post if he did run. However, the former Oklahoma star had already hinted he wouldn’t participate in drills at the combine. And honestly, it isn’t going to hurt his draft stock in any way whatsoever.
Murray already answered his biggest question early Thursday morning, measuring in at over 5-foot-10 and 207 pounds. His tape speaks for itself, and despite his below-average height he had no issues with batted passes or accuracy playing behind a behemoth offensive line at Oklahoma.
Teams that don’t like small quarterbacks won’t take him. Teams that have no issue with size constraints will be itching to get their hands on this uber talented dual-threat passer.
