Former President Barack Obama was on hand in Durham for the North Carolina-Duke game at Cameron Indoor Stadium Wednesday evening.

As evidenced by his presence at the game, it was the hottest ticket in sports as the NBA’s All-Star Break comes to a conclusion.

Unfortunately, star Duke freshman Zion Williamson suffered a knee injury 30 seconds into the game and didn’t return.

While said injury is said to be a mild sprain, it’s certainly concerning for the Blue Devils as they attempt to earn the national championship.

Following the game, Mr. Obama sent out a heartfelt tweet wishing Williamson a speedy recovery.

That’s class all the way right there.

Given that Duke has only five more regular season games remaining until the ACC Tournament and eventual NCAA Tournament, there’s no telling whether Williamson has played his final game as a member of the Blue Devils.

Either way, he’s receiving warm wishes from some of the most powerful people in the country. That tells us everything we need to know about the kid’s star power.
