WATCH: Jared Goff’s absolute dime leads to Rams first TD

The Los Angeles Rams were having a tough time at it on offense against the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Down 13-3, the Rams had racked up 85 total yards of offense late into the second quarter. Reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year Todd Gurley was nowhere to be found outside of this disastrous drop.

That’s when everything changed.

Los Angeles marched down the field to the tune of 81 yards on seven plays. The biggest gainer was this absolute dime from Jared Goff to former Saints receiver Brandin Cooks.

One play later, Gurley found the end zone on a six-yard run to pull the game to within 13-10 heading into the half.

But if it weren’t for that amazing pass from Goff, the Rams would likely have found themselves down by two scores heading into intermission. What a clutch catch and pass.
