WATCH: Easton Stick ices FCS Championship win with 46-yard TD

The North Dakota State Bison are FCS Champions for the second year in a row after beating the Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday. It was also the program’s seventh title in the last eight years — a truly remarkable run.

The star of this year’s FCS Championship Game was quarterback Easton Stick, who put the game away late in the fourth quarter with his third rushing touchdown of the game.

Following an onside kick that the Bison recovered, up by a touchdown late in the game, Stick broke off a 46-yard touchdown to ice this one.

Stick had a monster game. He threw for 198 yards with two touchdowns and added 121 yards on the ground, totaling five touchdowns on the day.

A player NFL scouts will likely be poring over the next few months, Stick is also known for doing something else that’s quite captivating. He’s a player to watch in the coming years.
