A recent report indicated that Alabama star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has over 400 family members set to attend the National Championship Game.
Joseph Goodman of AL.com reported a family source as saying the current ticket count among the Tagovailoa family is 405, adding that’s “expected to grow.”
Well, on Saturday during Media Day, Tagovailoa was asked about this claim and threw some cold water on that notion real quick.
Tua chimed in on the reports that he has 400 family members attending the National Championship.
"I do have a lot of family members, but if you could ask anyone in here if they can name 400 people, I don't think anyone could even name 100 off the top of their head." pic.twitter.com/gQRAlWomof

If we’re being honest, even 100 family members would be pretty impressive — a prolific display of proliferation, if you will.
Regardless of the actual number, it’s clear that Tagovailoa has a huge support group behind him as he attempts to lead ‘Bama to a second national title in a row.
