Steve Kerr has hilarious quote about playing in Los Angeles

NBA teams normally find themselves at a disadvantage when playing on the road. That’s magnified when said teams have to travel to either New York or Los Angeles.

There’s so much to do in the nation’s two largest markets. Yes, that includes going out to clubs and bars at night.

The Golden State Warriors’ current trip to Southern California is especially difficult in that they had two days off in between games against the Clippers and Lakers.

Needless to say, head coach Steve Kerr is a bit worried about what that might mean Monday night against the LeBron James-less Lakers.

“The time has been great. It’s a nice change of pace during the middle of the season, especially in mid-January,” Kerr said Monday evening, via NBC Sports Bay Area. “It’s beautiful weather here. A lot of guys have brought family members, Draymond (Green) got engaged and a lot of great stuff. But I’m just hoping they all drank a lot of water yesterday.”

It’s always good to get hydrated after a night out in the town. The way we know Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson like to party, that’s taken to a whole new level.

In the midst of a seven-game winning streak, Golden State is playing the best ball of its season. Now that DeMarcus Cousins is back in the mix, the expectation here is that these Warriors will continue to dominate.

Will the Warriors be LA’d Monday night? Only time will tell.
