Someone reportedly dropped $275K on Cowboys to cover 2-point spread

Cowboys

At least one person is extremely confident in the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Wild Card Weekend.

According to Darren Rovell of The Action Network, a bettor at the William Hill sportsbook at Monmouth Park in New Jersey just dropped $275,000 on the Cowboys to cover as 2-point favorites against Seattle on Saturday.

If the ‘Boys do cover, then this bettor is set to net $250,000.

That sound you hear is my inner child throwing a tantrum over someone having that kind of cash to just throw around.

For what it’s worth, Dallas and Seattle did clash in the regular season. It didn’t go well for the Cowboys up in the Northwest, but things are much different this time around.

Dallas has added Amari Cooper and have been much better offensively since landing him in a trade with Oakland. However, the blade cuts both ways. Seattle has greatly improved overall since early in the season and are formidable on both sides of the ball.

It’s going to be quite a spirited battle at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday. For some folks, however, it means quite a bit more than it does for the rest of us.
