Report: Bulls trade Justin Holiday to Grizzlies for picks, players

Following a postgame fight in the locker room after their game against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, the Memphis Grizzlies are changing up their roster a tad.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Grizzlies have acquired guard Justin Holiday from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for MarShon Brooks, Wayne Selden and second-round picks each of the next two years.

Wednesday night’s spat reportedly took place between Garrett Temple and Omri Casspi. Both remain on the roster following this trade.

On the surface, this is a solid move for Memphis. The team heads into Thursday’s action with an 18-19 record and having lost 10 of its past 13 games.

Holiday, 29, is averaging 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 38 percent from distance on the season. He started all 38 games in which he appeared for the Bulls prior to the trade.
