Michael Irvin: Cowboys will win four Super Bowls with Dak and Zeke

NFL Network analyst and former Dallas Cowboys star Michael Irvin is out here showing us how a subjective mind works.

Hours prior to his former Cowboys squad taking on the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Playoffs, Irvin appeared on television to predict that the Cowboys current triplets — Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper — will outdo what we saw from Irvin’s Cowboys squads of the 1990s.

How Irvin kept a straight face when he indicated that the Cowboys would win four Super Bowls with this trio is anyone’s guess. But it happened live on our television sets.

Having won three playoff games in the past near quarter century, the Cowboys have been a shell of their former selves. They became America’s team with Irvin, Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman back in the 1990s. Since then, Dallas has not even controlled the Texas football landscape.

Needless to say, Irvin was put on blast after showing his homer tendencies.
