Cowboys WR Cole Beasley blasts Jerry Jones, Cowboys front office

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley doesn’t seem to be happy with his team’s front office, owner Jerry Jones included.

When posed with a question about the departure of offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, Beasley took time to question Jones and Co.

It’s not the best of looks.

“Honestly, the front office pushes who they want to get the ball to. I haven’t been a huge priority in that regard,” Beasley wrote on Twitter. “Maybe that will change but I’m not sure. More balls come my way in 2 minute drill where nothing is planned.”

When a fan approached Beasley thanking him for his time with the Cowboys — a suggestion that he won’t be back — the underrated receiver responded accordingly.

“Doesn’t mean I’m gone. I’ll play anywhere where I can make more of an impact,” he said. “I would love for that to be Dallas or anywhere else that will give me more pops to make an impact. I just wanna ball. It’s hard with 3 to 4 opps a game.”

An unrestricted free agent this coming March, the 29-year-old Beasley is coming off a 2018 campaign that saw him put up 65 receptions for 672 yards and three touchdowns.

He’s seen as a plus-level slot guy. Though, Beasley also took a back seat to Amari Cooper after the eventual Pro Bowler was acquired from the Raiders earlier in the season. He’s all but certain to be on another team next season.
