Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa reveals his disdain for the 49ers

Tua Tagovailoa and the Alabama Crimson Tide will be taking on Clemson at Levi’s Stadium Monday night for a shot at the national championship.

Still at least one more season away from playing professionally, Tua noted ahead of the game that he grew up a Dallas Cowboys fan and is not necesarily fond of the San Francisco 49ers.

We’re not too sure how many 49ers fans will be inside their home stadium for the title game Monday night. But based on these comments, we’re sure that those in attendance will not take kindly to Tua and the Crimson Tide.

The good news for San Francisco is that it has a franchise quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo under center. The team will not be in the market for the Heisman runner-up should he declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.

This also begs one major question. Do fans really care who players grew up rooting for? After all, both Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers were 49ers fans before entering the NFL. Fans of the Patriots and Packers probably couldn’t care less, right?
