WATCH: Rudy Gobert ejected less than three minutes into game

Rudy Gobert

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was not having any of the officiating Thursday night against the Houston Rockets. One of the NBA’s best big men picked up two early personal fouls in the game. The latter of which came after Rockets guard James Harden seemingly flopped.

That’s when Gobert completely lost his mind, and was ejected at the 9:13 mark in the first quarter. Just check out the actions that led to said ejection.

To be clear, Gobert had no right to go over the table and do what he did. There’s no room in the NBA for this.

Even then, fans in Utah didn’t pay top-end money for the officials to be involved in the game. It should have been a simple technical with Gobert remaining in the game.

This comes after Gobert was fined $15,000 for criticizing officials following Utah’s two-point loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday. Yeah, there’s something fishy going on here.
