Denver Broncos pass rusher extraordinaire Von Miller heaped some praise on Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield.

As he prepares to attempt keeping Mayfield and the Browns in check during their Week 15 battle, Miller said Mayfield is, “an elite quarterback in the making,” per Steve Doerschuk of CantonRep.com.

It’s hard to argue with that statement.

In 11 games this season, starting 10 of them, Mayfield has clearly defined himself as the top rookie quarterback in the league. He’s led the Browns to a 4-6 record — phenomenal for this franchise — and has won three of his last four starts.

Statistically speaking, Mayfield is doing an incredible job. He’s completed 64.4 percent of his passes for 2,877 yards with 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Even better, he has the Browns on the cusp of potentially sneaking into the playoffs with a strong finish.
