The Pittsburgh Steelers might have to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals without star receiver Antonio Brown, who is reportedly still feeling discomfort in his knee.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Brown will work out before the game and will need to improve to have a shot to play. He’s also “still feeling discomfort” in his knee, per the report.
Obviously, losing Brown for a game the Steelers must win would be a tough pill to swallow. He was unbelievable last Sunday against the Saints, hauling in 14 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns. On the season, he’s brought in 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns.
If Brown is unable to play, then the onus will fall on JuJu Smith-Schuster to atone for his game-sealing turnover against the Saints and have a huge game on Sunday.
Pittsburgh needs to win Sunday and have the Baltimore Ravens lose to Cleveland in order to make the playoffs this year.
