The 2018 season hasn’t been an easy one for Mike Zimmer, head coach of the Minnesota Vikings — a team that had Super Bowl aspirations.
Following Monday night’s gut-wrenching road loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Zimmer fired his offensive coordinator, John DeFilippo.
As for the head coach, Zimmer has come under plenty of criticism for the way things have turned out thus far in 2018. The team is 6-6-1 and could miss the playoffs, causing no small amount of consternation among Vikings fans.
On Tuesday, Zimmer’s daughter, Corri Zimmer White, took to Instagram to defend her father’s work ethic and commitment to doing the job.

Her points are salient. Zimmer is nothing if not completely dedicated to his team.
It’s also important to remember that these men who serve as entertainment to us all have families who love and support them, just as ours do. When they are under intense scrutiny, their entire family feels it with them.
