Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary is a likely first-round NFL draft pick, but his professional involvement won’t be limited to the football field.
According to Darren Heitner of The Sports Biz, Gary is forming his own sports agency and has received trademark registration.
Rashan Gary has also received a trademark registration for his name & is in the process of registering his logo with the US Patent & Trademark Office. Both for use with sale of apparel. pic.twitter.com/8ZY5CIKFr2

This is a fascinating move, especially at this time. During bowl season, elite college football players are usually declaring for the draft and signing with an agent.
Not, you know, creating a business.
NFL agent Ian Clarke will be responsible for helping with the company’s creation and will serve as Gary’s agent.
Gary declared for the 2019 NFL draft after a productive career in Ann Arbor. He was a two-time All-Big Ten honoree, collecting 110 tackles with 19.5 for loss over the last two years. He’s expected to be a high first-round choice in April.
