The Pittsburgh Steelers might get star running back James Conner back for their Week 15 battle against the New England Patriots, after all.
Conner was a limited participant during Friday’s practice and is officially listed as “questionable” for Sunday’s game.

He’s been out since injuring his ankle a couple weeks back. Initially the Steelers downplayed the injury, but after further examination it was a bit worse than they thought.
Obviously the Steelers would love to have Conner back in the lineup. They missed him last weekend in Oakland, as Jaylen Samuels and Stevan Ridley were unable to get anything going on the ground.
And with a record of 7-5-1 heading into this pivotal AFC matchup, Pittsburgh needs all hands on deck to avoid potentially falling out of the playoff picture altogether following a three-game losing skid.
