Already in a 35-7 hole early in the second quarter against Auburn in the Music City Bowl, Purdue’s bad dream turned into a veritable nightmare.

Purdue quarterback David Blough was facing intense pressure when he made the poor decision to try and throw through Auburn’s defensive line. It didn’t go well for him, as the ball was batted right into the waiting hands of Big Kat Bryant, who rumbled 20 yards for the pick-six.

Auburn is just trucking the Boilermakers in this game, and the brutal blowout started with a too-easy touchdown on the game’s third play. There is still the better part of three full quarters left to play, and Purdue is buried alive, losing 42-7.
