After a close 17-14 win by the Army Black Knights over the Air Force Falcons, tempers flared between the military academies and boiled into an altercation at the end of the game.
Once the final whistle blew, pushing and shoving broke out on the field then both sidelines rushed on to the field and the altercation escalated even more.

The win guaranteed the Black Knights a share of the Commander in Chief trophy, the first time ever Army won the trophy for consecutive seasons.
While both are military schools, the rivalry between these teams showed throughout the game and ultimately led to the fight at the end of the game.
