Twitter reacts to Oklahoma’s wild win over West Virginia

Less than a week after football fans saw an unbelievable shootout in the NFL between two great offenses, the Oklahoma Sooners and West Virginia Mountaineers delivered a carbon copy on Friday.

Friday’s battle between two high-powered offenses was eerily similar to the Monday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams.

The game was littered with huge plays. From a 55-yard touchdown run by Kyler Murray to a sensational score by Malcolm “Hollywood” Brown. Anyone who loves highlight plays surely loved all the action in Friday’s contest.

Just like on MNF, a defense that couldn’t make a stop all night actually won the game with two defensive scores.

Oklahoma’s defense made the big plays when it needed, including a huge fumble returned for a score late in the fourth quarter. Then when the Sooners needed a clutch play from Murray on fourth down, he proved why he is a contender for the Heisman Trophy.

It proved to be the difference as the Sooners ran out of West Virginia with a close victory and their ticket punched to a Big-12 Championship matchup with the Texas Longhorns.

As the Sooners celebrated an exciting win, Twitter erupted to the wildness that went down in West Virginia.
