During the third quarter of Monday night’s game between the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur drew up a perfect play on fourth-and-goal.

The play design schemed Odell Beckham Jr. open in the end zone. Unfortunately, Manning either didn’t see OBJ or read the play the wrong way.

Instead of throwing to the wide-open No. 1 receiver, he threw it to…Scott Simonson?

After the Giants turned the ball over on downs — they were lucky it wasn’t an interception, to be honest — ESPN cameras showed a replay of Shurmur, who screamed, “What? Throw it to Odell!?

This just epitomizes what’s been a really brutal season for Manning and the Giants. Beckham has openly questioned whether his quarterback can even throw the ball 20 yards down the field, and he’s now the secondary weapon to Saquon Barkley because of Manning’s limitations.
