Vikings RB Dalvin Cook out for Week 6 against the Cardinals

Having missed last week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles to a hamstring injury, it looked like Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook would be good to go for Sunday’s game.

It was previously reported that the second-year back would be able to go on a limited snap count. Unfortunately, issues during pre-game warmups Sunday afternoon eliminated that possibility.

A second-round pick of the Vikings last year, Cook will now have missed 15 of his first 22 games since entering the league. He only played four games as a rookie before suffering a torn ACL last season.

With Cook out of action, veteran Latavius Murray will get a bulk of Minnesota’s rush attempts on Sunday. The good news? These Vikings are taking on a one-win Cardinals team.
