Twitter erupts as Kentucky wins after controversial PI call

The No. 12-ranked Kentucky Wildcats have enjoyed shocking success during the 2018 season and that continued on Saturday with a controversial finish against the Missouri Tigers.

Kentucky trailed 14-9 at its own 19-yard line with 84 seconds left in the game. Terry Wilson led the Wildcats on a methodical drive and made it to the Tigers’ 10-yard line. On the final play of the game, Wilson’s pass fell incomplete and Missouri started to celebrate.

Suddenly, a flag was spotted on the field and Missouri’s defensive back was called for pass interference that gave Kentucky new life.

This was called pass interference to give Kentucky an untimed down for the win.

After the pass interference put the ball at the two-yard line and gave the Wildcats an untimed down, they won it with a game-winning touchdown to knock off the Tigers.
