Former 1st-rounder DeVante Parker reportedly on the trade block

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly ready to move on from 2015 first-round pick DeVante Parker and are trying to trade him, per The Athletic’s Michael Lombardi.

As Lombardi notes in his report, Parker has struggled to stay healthy so far in his young career. He’s missed at least one game per season the past four years and has just 25 starts to his credit. This year, Parker has missed two of the team’s five games dealing with quad injury.

When healthy, Parker has shown an ability to produce on the field. For his career, he’s caught 141 passes for 1,948 yards (13.8 yards per catch) with eight touchdowns.

Due to his inability to stay healthy, however, it’s worth wondering if any team would be willing to give up much more than a conditional late-round pick for him at this point.
