In Saturday’s in-state battle against the TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns wide receiver Collin Johnson made an outstanding, leaping touchdown catch to put the Longhorns ahead.

Just before the end of the quarter, Texas drove down the field and found themselves at TCU’s 31-yard line. Then Sam Ehlinger put one right where only Johnson could get it and the junior made a diving catch into the end zone for the score.

Johnson has been a go-to target for Ehlinger throughout the game. After the go-ahead touchdown, he now has a team-high six receptions for 117 receiving yards.

Momentum is building in Texas as the Longhorns seek to pull off their second big win in consecutive weeks. If they come out of this game with a victory, Johnson’s diving catch will be a big reason for the upset victory.
