Steelers’ Antonio Brown has interesting response to Twitter troll

At 0-1-1 on the season and with Le’Veon Bell still holding out, things are not going too swimmingly for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Drama surrounding Bell has been the name of the game over the past several months.

The last thing Pittsburgh needed was more drama to surround the team. Apparently, star wide receiver Antonio Brown couldn’t care less. In responding to a Twitter troll that indicated Brown wouldn’t be as successful on another team, the Pro Bowler had a rather interesting response.

Obviously, this can’t qualify as Brown requesting a trade or anything of that ilk. But it is a continuation of questionable social media habits, some of which Brown has apologized for in the past.

This response does nothing to help his Steelers. The point is obvious. If Brown were on another team, we’d know first-hand whether he’d be as dominant as he’s been in Pittsburgh.

From that perspective, Brown has a solid point. He’s been the most-productive receiver in the NFL over the past several years. The six-time Pro Bowler is coming off a 2017 campaign in which recorded 101 receptions for a league-high 1,533 yards.
