Brewery aptly names beer after Ryan Fitzpatrick

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has quickly become the toast of the NFL. Accounting for nine touchdowns during Tampa Bay’s 2-0 start to the season, the Ivy League grad is playing the best football of his career.

He also has a unique look to go with it.

Combining the two St. Pete Brewing Company in Florida has decided to name an IPA after the beloved figure.

We’re certainly not expecting this specific beer to be bitter. It might come on strong afterwards, much like Fitzpatrick itself. But it will start smooth. Just ask both the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles about that.

The better part? It’s named Fitzmagic Double IPA. Because, why the heck not?

“We here at the brewery believe that a man that passes for four touchdowns and 400 yards in the first two games of the season deserves a beer named after him,” the brewery wrote on its Facebook page.

We’re all here for this.
