The Washington Redskins are going to ride veteran running back Adrian Peterson right out of the gate in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals.

As you’re likely aware, this game might hold added significance for Peterson, who last played for Arizona in 2017 and was not opposed to playing for the Cardinals in 2018.
In the end, he signed with Washington just a couple of weeks ago after rookie Derrius Guice was lost for the season with an ACL injury. During the preseason, Peterson looked like his old self again, rushing for 56 yards on 11 carries in his lone appearance.
If All Day can continue to make this type of impact for Washington this season, then it will be difficult to stop, as Alex Smith excels in a play-action-heavy offense.
