Being stuck out on the left coast, those in the NBA’s Pacific Division are always forced to travel more than any other teams.
With the NBA having released its schedule for the 2018-19 season, that’s no different this time around.

The Portland Trail Blazers will travel the most among the Association’s 30 teams, followed by the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors from the Pacific Division. All said, the seven teams with the most travel reside in the Western Conference.
On the other side of the ledger, the Eastern Conference consists of 12 teams with the least travel this coming season.
Given that the Western Conference is seen as loaded and Golden State has won three of the past four NBA titles, this might narrow the margin a bit. It’s also important to note that the NBA will not require teams to play four games in five days for the second consecutive season. That has to be music to the ears of all 30 squads.
