WATCH: Twins hitting coach tossed for justifiably calling out ump over awful call

On Thursday as the Minnesota Twins took on the Cleveland Indians, hitting coach James Rowan got tossed by umpire Adrian Johnson.

It was the first time in his career that he had been thrown out of a game. And if we’re being honest, he should wear this ejection like a badge of honor.

Johnson’s strike zone in this game can only be described as excessively generous.

He had called strike three against Ehire Adrianza on a pitch up outside the zone.

That’s when Rowan finally had enough and started barking at the ump.

Umps are human beings, and they make mistakes. They also tend to get pretty testy when their power is questioned behind the plate.

This incident was a perfect merger of those two truths, and Rowson took the brunt of the aftermath.
