Soccer is often known for having the most dramatic flop artists in all of sports. Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Carlos Gomez seems to want that title for his own.
During Saturday’s game against the Chicago White Sox, Gomez was hit by a pitch on the side. He then paused and dramatically fell to the ground before rolling over on the floor and slowly getting up with a smile.

It’s not even that Gomez needed to bring out the theatrics. The baseball clearly hit him in the side and he was awarded first base.
Of course, this is just who Gomez is. One of the quirkiest, wildest players in all of baseball who does things with a little extra flair and style.
