New England Patriots receiver Cordarrelle Patterson certainly made an impression with his new team in its preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
With the Pats in the red zone, Patterson took a short pass from Brian Hoyer, which left him one-on-one with Philadelphia corner, Sidney Jones. It’s safe to say that this matchup went Patterson’s way in decisive fashion.

That’s just an absolutely vicious move.
The Patriots are an offense that relies a lot on short passes into traffic. These are the kind of moves that can turn those plays into big ones. With that in mind, we can confidently say that New England’s coaches liked seeing that.
