LOOK: Draymond Green claps back at Cavaliers fans

Warriors forward Draymond Green during the team's championship parade

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is not keeping quiet following his third NBA title in four years.

It started with reports earlier this week that Green got into a fight with Cavaliers big man Tristan Thompson in a Los Angeles night club last month. It’s a fight that LeBron James and Kevin Durant had to break up (more on that here).

Following said incident, Cavaliers fans are preparing to throw a parade in celebration of Thompson landing some punches in Green’s direction.

Like clockwork, Draymond has responded. And as we’ve seen throughout his career, the All-Star is not backing down.

That’s just wrong on so many levels. After disposing of the James-led Cavaliers in three of the past four Finals, Green is out here shading Cavaliers fans. He’s doing so following the departure of the King from Cleveland to Southern California.

Certainly, Green isn’t wrong here. No one on their right mind expects the Cavaliers to contend for a title without James. In a way, having that one final parade to celebrate something those in Ohio deem worthy of celebrating makes some sense.

One thing we do know. Despite James’ now being a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, Green’s trip to Cleveland next season isn’t going to be without some drama. He wouldn’t have it any other way.
